Mobile blogging. Most bloggers in Japan post from their mobile phones. MIXI, the number one social networking site in the country, reported in September of 2007 that posts from phones were more common than those from computers.
A great example of this in America is the use of e-mail or voice posts on sites such as LiveJournal or WordPress. I even have a WordPress app on my iPhone now that allows me to post without using a special e-mail address or phone number. Moblogging is highly addictive.

Empty space and time. Also a literary concept describing places in a story where the reader must fill in what’s missing from the narrative. Common in anime and manga.
I sometimes use this in stories by having a character stare off while saying ‘Mah…’. It works well as a syllable that fills up the space and indicates that they are trying to piece together things from different points in the narrative. I am especially fond of fanfiction in which Kakashi uses this instead of saying ‘Oi.’
